Registration Costs

Postdoctoral researcher, senior researcher, retirees: 250€ for members of the Sektion Phykologie and 280 € for non-members 

Students (BSc, MSc; PhD students): 150€ for members of the Sektion Phykologie and 180 € for non-members

Payment

A payment request will be sent by mid-December 2026.

Presentations and Posters

The conference language is English. More information about the format of the submitted presentations and posters will follow once registration closes.

Awards to Promote Algal Research

School Pupils’ Prize (‘Shaping the Future with Algae’):

  • Recognises outstanding school projects relating to algae.
  • Includes a certificate and prize money.

Student Research Award:

  • Recognises an outstanding presentation of a final-year thesis (Bachelor’s or Master’s theses, state examinations).

Ernst-Georg-Pringsheim Prize:

  • Awarded every two years for an outstanding presentation of an ongoing doctoral thesis in phycology.

Hans-Adolf von Stosch Medal:

  • This honours members who have rendered outstanding service to the promotion, reputation and objectives of the Section, as well as to algae research.
